In 1995, as a direct response to the needs of local area salon owners, The Nail Superstore was founded by Kevin Huynh under the name of Skyline Beauty Supply Inc. 

At the time nail products were mostly available from full service distributors whose main focus and experience was with hair products.  For many professionals this presented a huge gap in the technical information readily provided to that needed, limited local availability to a wide variety of brands, and untimely first hand access to technological advances.   As much as distributors tried to do a better job at all of this there was also a huge language barrier developing that stood in the way for a large percentage of new technicians entering the business.

Kevin, being a licensed technician and salon owner himself saw this huge gap in service available to nail industry professionals.  This foresight coupled with his nature to want to help others made him a perfect candidate to be a nail supply distributor.  From there, it’s all history!

We started out as a one man operation in a little storefront on Broadway Street in Chicago.  Today, due to our commitment to providing excellent service, we are one of the largest distributors in the country specializing in nail care products.  New or old, big or small, our customers’ satisfaction is the single most important aspect of our business.  We are dedicated to providing technical support, education, business development tools and anything else needed to help our customers’ grow and thrive in today’s competitive environment.  We strive to offer the best products available at a fair and reasonable market price. That’s why our customers can count on us to provide affordable, quality products their customers want and deserve.    

Established in 2007, The Nail Superstore Headquarters are now located in a 20,000 square foot facility in Franklin Park, Illinois.   This facility houses our entire inventory, shipping and receiving, customer service, classroom area, dedicated Professional Salon Consultants, administrative staff and executive management.   It’s here we’ll take our company to the next level and continue putting our customers first!
